Recruitment procedure for banking job generally comprises written test and then interview. Written test has both objective and descriptive type questions and duration is around 2 hours. From 2011 people have to pass the Common Written Examination conducted by the institute of Banking and Personal Section (IPBS) as a pre-requisite to be eligible for banking Clerical cadre posts in various public sector banks which covers 19 banks currently.
